Sponsorship is a big part of The Adventurists' events and just so it's crystal clear - 100% of the money you donate goes to the charities (Frank Water and Send a Cow). None of it gets used for car repairs/visas/legal fees. That money we generate ourselves via a six-month long pre-event crime spree. It's a bit early to start asking you all to put your hands in your pockets and cough up some cash but what we would like to do is start searching for corporate sponsors. As with any rally car, there's buckets of space for corporate stickers and we're hoping the event itself will generate a reasonable amount of press. Last year we raised about £2300 on very little notice and we're hoping to smash that this year by getting in early. Apart from being on the car and getting in all the photos, we'll be using this section of the site to give props to anybody who's helped us out, including any businesses or organisations that are kind enough to sponsor us. This site usually generates a pretty decent amount of traffic, especially around the event itself as we do try to blog daily.
